LandSyd’s office in Varde has been located at its current address, Nordre Boulevard 93, since 1967, when the two Varde land surveying firms merged. The office has traditionally handled the majority of land surveying work in the summerhouse areas of Blåvand, Vejers, and Henne, as well as in the main towns of Varde, Ølgod, Agerbæk, and Oksbøl, and the extensive rural area now comprising Varde Municipality. Additionally, we also work extensively in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality and further afield in Jutland.
We can trace our history back to the late 1800s, with the oldest surveying books still on the shelves and occasionally used to establish boundaries in, for example, Varde’s historic city center. Over the years, many changes have occurred, with the most significant being the introduction of computer technology in the late 1970s. Before this time, everything was done manually, but today all operations are digital.
The Landinspektør Varde office is one of the largest departments within LandSyd, and we have a long tradition of our employees staying with us for many years. We have thus celebrated many 40-year anniversaries and even a 50-year milestone for an employee who ended up working with us for 52 years. We are pleased and proud of the loyalty and experience we bring to benefit our clients.
The history of Ingeniørgruppen began in 1959.
Back then, hardly anyone could have imagined that the company would become what it is today.
In 1959, Engineer H.K. Lauridsen founded the engineering company of the same name. He ran the company until 1981, after which it was taken over by the employees. In 1986, the company changed its name, and ‘Ingeniørgruppen Varde’ was born. With a healthy dose of Jutlandic modesty, it must be said that things went well in the years that followed, and in 2005, the company expanded with a department in Skjern.
Meanwhile, Vejen was also active. Hans-Jørn Lauritzen started his engineering company in 1976 and ran it until 2010, when he chose to step out of the ownership circle. Later that same year, Varde, Skjern, and Vejen merged into one company.
One company – One name
In 2017, Ingeniørgruppen AS was born, with branches in Varde and Vejen, but in 2021 the name changed to Ingeniørgruppen as we know it today.
In 2024, we will open another department, which will be located in Holstebro.
The company is owned and operated by Mads Møller Lauritsen, Kim Dall Refsing, Thorkil Lorenzen, Nicki Askjær Storm, and Lasse Bæk Olesen.
